Outings

We've had quite a few outings this Spring...

* Chemistry

B8 went to a chemistry talk on exploding and burning chemicals.  Needless to say, he loved it!

* Wall climbing

A new twice monthly wall climbing group has started up for Home Educators, and the boys looooove it. (expensive though!)

* Forest group

Fire-cooked dinner, wood whittling and play in the outdoors

* Wind Orchestra Concert

So good

* A day at the Space Centre

They learnt a lot

inside a space command module

* A session learning about bread making

We watched the bakers mixing the dough, and then plaiting it into shapes

*  The boys and I went to Sea Life

It was fascinating. A few years ago they were reeeeally into the Cbeebies cartoon called Octonauts; and oh my, this was like Octonauts come to life! We recognised so many sea critters from Leafy Sea Dragons to Garden Eeels, thanks to the Octonauts!

* Catholic Scouts

Just started up in our area

and that's all on top of our regular weekly activities, and having a language student staying with us!
phew, been a busy start to 2017!
