Handicraft

This term's handicraft for B8 is sewing.  I last tried doing some with him when he was 5yrs old, and it strained his eyes and he didn't have the coordination for it; it quickly became evident that he was too young.
We recently retried sewing this term, and I was very surprised, he was a whizz, doing it very well with no problems! and even enjoying it

He started with simple running stitch. He drew a lego Ninjago head himself in pencil, and learnt to thread a needle and sew along his pencil lines.

He was very happy too with it!


Next project might be a bag for his nerf gun bullets (...so I don't keep finding them everywhere.....!)
