The kids and I jumped on the train last week to spend the day in London.
First Stop: Natural History Museum
The boys enjoy a show on Cbeebies called "Andy's Dinosaur Adventures" and it is based in "the National Museum" (which is clearly the Natural History Museum in London). Andy has a time-travelling grandfather clock that allows him to go back in time to see different dinosaurs and prehistoric animals. The boys were insistent on hunting out the magical grandfather clock.... I asked a museum guard where it might be, and he played along with the joke and said oh dear, it had been taken away for repairs that day! The boys were disappointed!

| Moving growling T-Rex in the dinosaur gallery |
 |
| Maiasaur eggs and nest. |
 |
| Furry/feathery dinosaurs (cant remember the name...some relation of the velociraptor) |
And after that we headed off for the real reason we came to London........

| Yes!! CLASSICAL SPECTACULAR at the Royal Albert Hall |
This was our second trip to the Royal Albert Hall, but our first time seeing Classical Spectacular. It's a live classical music show played by the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra, set to a laser light show with fireworks and cannons (we went to the schools' matinee showing, so tickets were only £5! (a fraction of the regular cost)
We had our own second tier box all to ourselves, right in front of the stage!
It was fantastic!
We're definitely going back next year!
